Beautiful people of the world! How are you? What’s going on? What’s happening? What’s the word on the street? How’s the family?
If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome, welcome, welcome. You should know I’m a positive, drama free individual who loves having a good laugh. Also, my current followers will tell you that it’s tradition for new followers to bring donuts so please get with me before you leave so we can arrange something. If you have been here before, I’m trying to score us some free donuts!
I’ll give you all some quick updates first and then I can fill you in on the details later.
Several months ago I started running on trails. There seems to be less people on the trails than on the road and I prefer the nonchalant attitude I get from the deer I see. Sometimes I start to wonder if deer are strong enough to carry me to safety atop their antlers if I ever pass out on the trail. That’s usually my cue to rehydrate.
About 6 weeks ago, I stopped running. I ended up damaging the plantar fascia of my right foot and I needed time to heal. Also, I realized I wanted to build strength in order to minimize injury on the trails. I think it’s safe to start running again.
Now, I spend all of my free time at the gym. Just kidding. I try and go daily for about an hour. The gym is full of so many interesting people. I’ll have more stories later.
To switch it up between hitting the trails and hitting the gym, I purchased a road bicycle. It’s very different from my old mountain bike but it is definitely an upgrade. It’s tall, thin, lightweight, smooth, and red. I love it.
Roller skating, kayaking, car trouble, and more strangers coming soon!
When I’m on the go, and I’m usually on the go, I listen to a great deal of audiobooks and podcasts. If you have any suggestions for a good book or podcast let me know in the comments below.
That’s it for now. Remember to follow me on social media and subscribe to my blog to stay updated.
